#IKNOWWRITEMNL2014

Last Feb. 22, I had the privilege to attend I Know Write, an event for teen bloggers by teen bloggers, at Kuppa Roastery & Cafe, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. It was organized by Arielle Guevarra, Jodie Alejaga, and Niña Alvia, with guest speaker the Arriane Serafico of Wanderrgirl.

As we all expected, Ate Arriane was very inspiring. She did not fail to empower us and give us courage - and somewhat a purpose - to continue blogging. She entertained us with stories about her personal mishaps as a newbie in the blogging scene while sharing what she had learned over the years.

Some of her notes
Meet some of my new blogging friends!

Julia of Forever Young
Jemimah of Exploring Intrepidity (((check hers out, she's one of my faves!)))
Yanni of Life is a Work of Art
Cidee of Take He(art)
Isabel of The Little Things
(wearing red) Therese of  The Mild Child
(farther left) Lianna from Hide The Blues, (beside me) Kayla from Adventures with Kayla
The ~*brains*~ behind IKWr:

Arielle, my favorite-est person ever, from Spaceship to Infinity
Jodie from A Sunny Day Blog

Niña from Infinite Existence (((almost screamed when I met her!)))
And of course, the wondrous speaker:

This event was such a great and a very successful endeavor - the first one I attended alone, and the first (and hopefully not last!) where I attended as a blogger. It all happened too fast; one minute I'm boarding a bus to go to the venue, next thing I know I'm on a subway headed home. But every minute was very fulfilling, like wow I am actually socializing with human beings, and I found myself a circle of friends that doesn't chant my blog name as a joke, and a new set of wonderful blogs to read. Although I was shyer than usual, I did enjoy (mostly the pizza) and can't wait for its sequel, hopefully this summer!

Will do an outfit post of this soon, but I'll leave you with these first xx

  1. Hi, Andrea! First off, I just want to thank you for all the comments you've left on my blog. ♥ Secondly, it's wonderful to finally be able to meet someone from previously the "online world" face-to-face! I agree, the event went by too swiftly, which is a pity since it was enjoyable. And here's to shy people coming out. ;)

Also, we're going to chant your blog name, but only because it's worth mentioning. Collars and Bones, Collars and Bones!
